Salem passed a $4.3 billion tax package in a September special session. Eight months later, Oregon voters erased it by a margin of nearly 5 to 1.

Santa Fe aimed for record-breaking tax hikes. We built the largest business coalition in New Mexico history. The tax hike went down in flames.
